Conservation Commission

Have you ever visited Boscawen's forests or been out on Walker Pond? Do you enjoy local farm produce? Is Boscawen's rural character important to you? Then you have benefited from the work done by your local Conservation Commission. Volunteers from the Commission maintain the Town Forest and other undeveloped Town lands. The Conservation Commission works with local landowners on many levels. We help to conserve new land of ecological and recreational importance for the Town. We assist local landowners in dealing with invasive species. We advise Boscawen's Town boards on development strategies that can help minimize their impact on the Town's natural resources and mitigate the effects of climate change.

To learn more about Boscawen's Conservation Commission come join us the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Town Office. To read more see the Conservation chapter of Boscawen’s Master Plan. Whether you have a conservation related project in mind or you just want to see where you can help volunteers of all backgrounds are greatly appreciated. If you have any specific questions for the Commission and are unable to attend in person, please contact Kellee Easler at
keasler@boscawennh.gov.
