BOSCAWEN VILLAGE TOWN FOREST

TRAILS WORKDAY

Date & Time:  September 11, 2021 - Volunteer  Sign in @ 9:00 AM – 1:00PM

Location: Meet at the new trail head parking lot (across from Marshalls firearms)

The Event: Clipping & clearing brush, light raking, on trails. Having FUN!

What to bring: Water, Snack, Bug spray, Hat, Sunblock, Bug spray, Work shoes, Loppers or rock rake and a good attitude.

What to expect: We will have a brief tailgate safety meeting @ 9:20 so we can be on the trail by 9:30 AM. Then split into 4 person pods. Work will entail cleaning up brush that has been clipped and widening up low lying limbs. Then follow up with a light raking. Reunite all volunteers @ 1:00PM at trailhead. Our goal is to get the trails ready for public recreational use. A new trail map and signage will soon follow our workday. We will have tools available but bring along your own if you must. We appreciate your desire to help make this new Town Forest great.
