Sewer Infrastructure Projects 3 & 4 Receive NHDES Funding
The Town of Boscawen is pleased to announce that Sewer Infrastructure Projects 3 & 4, which were approved at the 2023 Town Meeting, placed #6 of the NH Department of Environmental Services Clean Water State Revolving Fund Priority List for 2023. This low interest program will allow the Town to fund the entire project cost of $6,500,000 with principal forgiveness of $1,625,000. The Town has contracted with Underwood Engineers for the project. Sewer Projects 3 & 4 will focus on replacing sanitary sewer lines in the areas of Park Street, Oak Street, Prospect Street, Lower Queen Street, Chandler Street, and North Main Street. Project design work and bidding are planned for 2024. The anticipated construction start will begin in the Spring of 2025.
